Student Testimonial Contest

Create a 30-second video showcasing the STEM career you are pursuing, and your motivation or how you are achieving your dream. Include a message on how Great Minds in STEM (GMiS) has had an impact on your career goals and aspirations.

But above all, we want your video to include a message that helps inspire future generations of STEM talent!

The video should be delivered in an upbeat manner, positive and encouraging. Video should motivate pre-college students to pursue a STEM degree. You can use props and the video can include a setting of your choice. The content and language should be G-rated, and no cursing, swearing, or inappropriate behavior or gestures. Entrants must be enrolled in and attending undergraduate or graduate college classes, full or part-time.

Scoring Criteria

  • Motivational and inspiring message
  • Encourages pre-college students to pursue STEM careers
  • Fun, upbeat, creative manner

Submission

1) Videos can be submitted using a YouTube link. Send a DM to our Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok accounts. The message must include the following information:

  • Your YouTube Video Link
  • Name
  • Contact Number/Cell Phone
  • Major
  • School Name
  • School City, State
  • Title of Video

2) Videos can be submitted through other social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. Tag us in it and then send a direct message to our account and include the following items:

  • A link to the video that you posted
  • Name
  • Contact Number/Cell Phone
  • Major
  • School Name
  • School City, State
  • Title of Video

Voting

Your video will be posted on this website and your fellow students will be able to vote on their favorite video!

Announcement

Winning videos will be shown during the Student Leadership Awards Show. All videos submitted become the property of GMiS and can be used to promote STEM careers
